Tina Johnson - Practice Manager
I grew up in a small town in Virginia. As a child my dream was to work with animals. I started taking care of animals at a very young age, due to my father owning a sawmill. He was forever bringing abandoned or injured critters home.
20+ years ago my career in veterinary medicine started at Woodsdale Animal Hospital. I started as a kennel helper, then later expanded my wings to grow with hands-on learning and continued education. I have had many years in general medicine, emergency medicine and the specialty referral side at various veterinary practices, and now have ended up back home at WAH to continue my daily growth in veterinary medicine as a team leader of a phenomenal group.
Over the years I have enjoyed developing meaningful relationships with both our clients and patients. I truly believe it helps to positively impact the level of care and medicine we are able to offer.
In my free time I enjoy my family, grandchildren and my dog Tonka. My favorite quiet time is sitting by the ocean listening to the waves.
