February Newsletter

Woodsdale February Newsletter:

WAH will be changing availability of Saturday hours moving forward - Starting 2/12/22. We encourage all of our clients to call 336-599-0611 to confirm hours of operation and availability.

As you might have noticed, the prices of everything from gasoline to groceries have increased. Medical supplies used by WAH to treat your pet have drastically changed over the past 12 months. We find the price increases just as frustrating as our customers...we are pet owners too! Please keep in mind that it is not the staff’s fault that that the prices have increased. Although everyone finds the situation frustrating, including all of the staff at WAH, we should all be mindful of how we treat one another. We want to reassure all of clients that we are working diligently with suppliers to get the best prices possible(yes, even better than Chewy!).

It is important for clients to understand that Emergency Referral Hospitals have been turning away emergencies in the Raleigh/Durham area. WAH is seeing a record number of emergencies during normal business hours. With the increased workload, please make sure that you are scheduling yourself some additional time for your appointment.

We provide all customers with estimates for items such as surgeries and procedures. We try to get as close to the price you will pay with all estimates. As you might imagine, with the rapidly changing cost of medical supplies, estimates are applicable for 30-days and prices may be subject to change. At the time of your surgery, we will provide an updated estimate.

We also remind everyone to please call 48 hours in advance to refill prescriptions. This helps us review your pet’s prescription to make sure there are no changes before moving forward.
